The first few months of your puppy’s life are incredibly important.
Our 2-Week Puppy Kindergarten Board & Train Program is designed to give your puppy a positive, structured introduction to training, routines, socialization, and everyday life.
Think of it as kindergarten for your puppy — we aren’t expecting them to graduate with a college degree! Instead, our goal is to build a strong foundation, introduce good habits early, and help prevent many of the common problems that develop when puppies grow up without clear expectations.
During their two-week stay with Canine CoPilots, your puppy will live, learn, play, and experience the world under the guidance of our professional trainers.
Training is customized to your puppy’s age, personality, confidence level, and individual needs. Your puppy will be introduced to important foundational skills including:
Because puppies are still babies, our focus is on creating positive habits and teaching them how to learn, rather than expecting adult-level obedience.
One of the biggest priorities of Puppy Kindergarten is proper socialization.
Socialization doesn't simply mean allowing your puppy to play with as many dogs and people as possible. It means carefully exposing them to the sights, sounds, surfaces, environments, handling, routines, and experiences they may encounter throughout their life.
Depending on your puppy’s age, vaccination status, and individual needs, we may introduce them to new people, appropriate dogs, different surfaces, household noises, vehicles, crates, grooming and handling, new environments, and everyday distractions.
Our goal is to help your puppy learn that new experiences are normal and manageable.
Puppies thrive on consistency.
Throughout their stay, we establish a structured daily routine that balances training, play, enrichment, rest, potty breaks, and appropriate social experiences. We also begin addressing common puppy behaviors such as jumping, biting and mouthing, pulling on the leash, demand barking, inappropriate chewing, difficulty settling, and crate resistance.
Just as importantly, we teach owners how to continue that structure once their puppy comes home.
Your puppy’s two-week stay is only the beginning.
At Canine CoPilots, we believe successful dog training requires teaching the humans, too. At the end of the program, we'll show you what your puppy has learned, how to communicate clearly with them, how to continue practicing their new skills, and how to maintain appropriate boundaries and routines at home.
And you aren't on your own once you leave.
We believe dog training should come with continued support. As your puppy grows, new behaviors, challenges, and questions are going to come up — that's a normal part of raising a dog.
Our team is here to help you navigate those changes and continue building on the foundation your puppy started with us.
Our 2-Week Puppy Kindergarten Board & Train is a great option for families who want to:
You don't have to wait until unwanted behaviors become established to begin training.
Starting early gives your puppy the opportunity to learn good habits from the beginning — and gives you the tools and support to continue developing those skills as they grow.
